A customer had commissioned a project hoping to provide a comfortable, immersive and high-performance experience for all those visiting the cinema. Mistakes made at the initial design phase, meant that instead of the four rows of seats the customer wanted, the cinema design had ended up with just three, due to the height of the room. If they had gone for with four rows viewers would be looking at the back of other viewers’ heads instead of the screen.
A project we were called into correct earlier this year where two-thirds of the seats had a compromised viewing and audio experience. Only four seats in the whole cinema would enjoy the full experience.
Correcting these types of mistakes after the project has begun can be very expensive and if they are not corrected soon enough, can permanently compromise the result.
